1969 Lamborghini Espada Series I

Four seats, twelve cylinders, one very brave GT

Fictional demo record with illustrative, licensed photos. This vehicle is not offered for sale, and bids placed here have no legal effect.

Description

The Espada is the practical Lamborghini: a long-legged four-seat GT with a V12 under a bonnet you can actually see over. This example lot is used to demonstrate how a reserve auction behaves when bidding approaches the reserve.

The car is presented here as illustrative content only. Nothing on this page describes a real car that is for sale, and no chassis number is shown. We deliberately use a period colour combination and a plausible specification to show how a well-presented lot page reads.

What we would ask a seller to provide for a real listing: documented history, invoices for engine work, photographs of the known weak points (sills, jacking points, rear suspension mounts) and a written statement of what is not known.

Simulation with example data — no contract, no payment, no payout. A personal connection is not an inspection and not a guarantee.

History

Illustrative history: three recorded keepers in the demo record, service entries shown as a timeline. A real listing would show document scans, not a summary.

Known issues

Known weak points listed for the demo: rear suspension mounts, condition of the original interior, and paint condition on the bonnet. None of this has been verified by us.

Documents & disclosures

  • Documented Illustrative service history

Three entries shown in the demo record. No scans attached in this preview.

  • Seller's statement Rust-free body, according to the seller

A seller statement is not an inspection. We do not repeat it as a fact.

  • Open question Condition of the rear suspension mounts

Not documented. Would be checked before a real listing goes live.
