Terms of use for the project preview

1. Scope and provider

These terms govern the use of the website www.carsforcollectors.com in its current state as an interactive project preview (operating mode DEMO).

Provider is the operator named in the imprint. Deviating or supplementary conditions of users do not apply.

By using the preview you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the demo functions.

2. Subject: a demonstrator, not a marketplace

The preview presents the planned platform: example vehicles, a fee calculator, simulations of bidding, settlement, circles and administration.

It is a development state. Functions can change, be incomplete or be temporarily unavailable.

The operating mode is shown on every page. The mode LIVE is locked in the software and cannot be activated through the interface.

3. Example data — no offers, no bids with effect

All vehicles, sellers, prices, descriptions, documents, bids, results, invoices, settlements and support cases are example data generated for demonstration purposes.

Nothing on this website is a binding offer to conclude a contract. Bids placed in the demo are simulations: they create no rights and no obligations, neither for you nor for us, and they are not accepted by anyone.

There is no auction, no acceptance, no purchase and no sale. Any result shown is a demonstration of how the software would calculate it.

4. No payments, no payouts, no invoices

No payment function is active. We never ask for bank details, card data or crypto wallet data in this preview.

Documents labelled “SAMPLE — not an invoice” are demonstration documents without any tax or legal effect.

If someone asks you for money in the name of this preview, it is not us. Please report it to office@krp6.at.

5. Demo accounts and your obligations

Demo accounts exist so that logged-in functions can be shown. Please do not enter real personal data of third parties, do not upload content, and do not reuse passwords from other services.

You must not: attempt to reach administrative areas without authorisation, attempt to activate live functions, place bids automatically or in bulk, scrape the site, or interfere with its availability.

We may block or delete demo accounts that are used contrary to these terms.

6. Availability, changes, discontinuation

The preview is provided as-is. There is no entitlement to availability, to specific functions or to retention of demo content.

We may change, restrict or discontinue the preview at any time without notice, including the reset of all demo data.

A launch date has not been confirmed. This preview contains no promise that the platform will ever operate.

7. Content, images and intellectual property

Texts, layout, code, word mark and design of this preview are protected. You may view the preview and share links to it; you may not copy, republish or commercially use its content without written consent.

Photographs are licensed third-party works, documented on the image credits page. Their licences may require attribution; you must respect them if you reuse a photo.

Vehicle names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their use here is descriptive for illustrative example vehicles.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for damage to life, body or health.

For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the damage typically foreseeable at the time of use. This limitation does not apply to consumers where mandatory law provides otherwise.

The preview is a demonstration. We are not liable for decisions you base on example data, simulated results or calculator outputs.

9. Data protection

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

Because the preview is a development state, these terms may be adapted. The version published here at the time of use applies.

If a provision is invalid, the rest remains valid; the invalid provision is replaced by the legally permissible provision that comes closest to its purpose.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict of laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the user's country of residence remain unaffected.

For disputes with entrepreneurs, the courts at the provider's registered office have jurisdiction.

Open legal question: whether this preview itself constitutes a service requiring a trade licence, and which additional information obligations follow from that, is being assessed and is not asserted here.
